Why should I do comedy shows?
That’s easy … Comedy is one of the hottest forms of live entertainment. You can use it to bring customers in on a slow night or make an average night a packed house! Plus it sets you apart from the other bars in town by offering something besides a DJ, bands, or Karaoke.
You can use comedy as a way to get crowds in, then have them stay all night with your DJ or karaoke afterwards. You’ll get to laugh and make money. How cool is that?

What kind of comedians do you have?
Easiest answer – Every kind you can imagine! We have over 2,000 comedians on file. Many of our comedians have appeared on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, and the syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, just to name a few credits. We have the funniest comedians working today! We also have access to celebrity comedians!
This sounds good, but what about the cost?
Price depends on several things, including your location for routing and the night you want to do a comedy show. Since we book our comedians on tours, we are able to offer them more work and the venue lower prices. Generally speaking shows range between $400-650 (this is the price for a show with two comedians)
How long is a show?
Our general show consist of two comedians and last roughly 90-100 minutes.
What kind of seating capacity should my bar have?
Comedy can be perfect in almost any venue. We look for establishments that seat at least 40 patrons, with an area for a stage or place for comedians to stand where everyone can see them.
How often should I do shows?
We suggest either once a week, bi-weekly, or monthly. This all depends on how big of a city you are in. The main thing is setting a schedule and sticking to it. This way customers will always know when the shows are.

Yes. we can help you open a full time comedy club. We have the resources and available talent to help you succeed.
What does Comedians Nationwide provide to help me with promotion?
Each bar/nightclub we book is supplied with our “tip sheets” on making comedy work. We have the promotional tools to make comedy a huge hit in your town. Plus we are easily accessible any time via phone or e mail to help you and your staff.
When you book a show we send the comedians headshots, biography pages, posters, and tickets.
